Joel James is the key to Dwyer’s repaet hopes this year
Joel James and Dwyer hope to make another run at the State Title
Dwyer will rely a lot on the 6-11 James, who will need to stay out of foul trouble, become his team’s scoring focus and dominate the lane.
The Panthers have some talent around him, though, particularly speedy guard Delrionte Allen and 6-5 forwards Daniel Decius and Tarus Heath. But the absence of Greg Louis, Vic Adams, Jacoby Brissett, Terrell Harris and others will be felt. They’ll get some interior help from 6-3 Malik Brown, who transferred from Gardens before the school year.
