March 16, 2011
The NCAA Tournament is underway with two of the “First Four” games complete and the 2011 NCAA Tournament scores are already in. The first game of the night may have been a hard one to find, as few know anything about the channel truTV, but once fans found the game between UNC-Asheville and Arkansas-Little Rock they were treated to two #16 seeds who were evenly matched and looking to get a NCAA Tournament win. When time ran out in regulation the score was tied resulting in an extra period of basketball, but in the extra frame UNC-Asheville did what they needed to do to win in a 81-77 victory. Now 20-13 on the season, UNC-Asheville will face #1 Pittsburgh on Thursday afternoon
